I decided to try chicken and waffles for the first time. I went to the cafe, placed my order, and waited. When the dish came out, I simply couldn’t decide which to eat first……….the chicken…or the Eggo. 🙂

I find it totally amusing when people like Schumer and Pelosi call President Trump ignorant, stupid, foolish, even a buffoon, and then in some way or another he out-smarts them. If you get out-smarted by a “buffoon”, what does that say about you?

When they shut down the Papa John’s in the food court at Harrah’s Valley River Casino, they took my most frequented restaurant. I’ve found pizza to be great casino food. Get one and take it to the room, go back down to gamble. Whenever you need a break, go back up have a beer and a slice and enjoy the view from your room!

So when they closed the only pizza place, I was in a panic. But around that same time they opened their first sit-down restaurant the Landing Cafe(they only had a food court before). I was happy to find that they had pizza on the menu. This was about six months ago and I tried it but it was not my kind of pizza. They only offered thin crust and I hate thin crust, lol. There wasn’t much cheese either. I started to think my pizza party was over. However, I was at the casino earlier this week and I decided I’d get another. I was amazed! They have gone to a hand tossed crust, a very flavorful sauce, and now they use tons of fresh gooey mozzarella cheese. I always go with pepperoni and there was plenty of that too! Everything about it tasted so fresh! It was the best pizza I’ve had in quite a while!

Long story short, the pizza party is back on! Oh and I like to order my pizza from the Ultrastar Bar(as opposed to ordering inside the restaurant), where I can have a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale on draft while I wait for my heavenly pizza pie(and watch all the TVs and people bowling). 🙂 Try it! I’ve been changing my oil and filter since I was sixteen. I’ve always used Castrol GTX motor oil, but I’ve switched around on brands of filters. I’ve used cheaper ones from Fram and more expensive ones too. But after a visit to bobistheoilguy.com , I realized that you can get a mid-priced filter with all the components of high end filters. I’m talking about the Purolater One(formerly PureOne) filter. It uses metal end caps instead of cardboard and a high end filter media. The great thing is, it only costs a couple bucks more than the cheapies, while performing like the expensive guys. Try it out!

Can you believe our leaders can make political hay with statements like, “Walls don’t work.”? It’s absurd. Wouldn’t you love to see Nancy or Chuck try to climb one then? But they probably have trouble climbing out of the hot tub after a few martinis. 🙂

The thing is, walls do work and it’s been proven for ages. It’s like saying the wheel doesn’t work. We have used both for 1000s of years for one simple reason. They work!

I went back to Harrah’s Valley River Casino and Hotel in Murphy, NC last week. I was comped a Premium room. This is their highest level room and it’s pretty sweet!

You saw the pics of a regular room in my previous post so you can tell this room is much larger and the bathroom is huge! It has a recliner, a more spacious shower, and a fold-out couch.

There are only 4 of these rooms per floor, so only 28 in the hotel. If you are able to reserve one you have already hit the jackpot! 🙂

If you are looking for a suite, you will have to go up the road about 55 miles to Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Resort. It has been around since 1997 and has had plenty of time to grow. Valley River is just a little over 3 and a half years old, but I’m sure they will catch up fast. Now that I have more free time, I plan to focus more on my rap/country-fusion band. It’s called “Kanye Twitty”. 🙂

I told a friend that I got suspended from my church football league. She asked why. I told her I got flagged too many times for “roughing the Pastor”.

I think something is wrong with my phone. I put it in airplane mode, but it just sits there. 🙂

Just something I always do if I am paying cash to buy something from an individual who doesn’t really know me. It’s always an awkward moment when you are the seller and you get handed a bunch of bills. While it would be wise to count them immediately, it would look like a lack of trust on your part. So to diffuse the situation(as the buyer), I always hand them the money and say, “Better count that to make sure”. That way they can do it or not, but if they do want to, it looks like they are doing what I suggested and they don’t have to worry about offending me.

New Age Beverages Corporation announced a nationwide distribution deal with Walmart Monday for 3 flavors of its (Bob)Marley line of beverages. This is big. The stock went from $4.78 Friday to $6.60 on Monday. Big, but just the beginning. 🙂

This is the closest casino to my home and it’s a great little place. I go quite a bit and they have everything! Everything is brand new since it only opened in late 2015. Actually, they have already built an addition, a multi-tainment center with a large restaurant and a bowling alley with arcade. The Diamond Lounge is easy to find and everyone is extremely nice. Jessie is the lounge bartender and he is outstanding(ask him to do a magic trick).

As for gaming, they have live dealers and table games. There’s plenty of slot machines and video poker. I wish I were there right now. 🙂

Now we can’t forget where this casino is. It’s in Murphy, NC and every room has a beautiful view of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Just Beautiful!

If you have time, you should also visit Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort. It’s only about 55 miles away. It’s been open since 1997, so it’s much bigger with more amenities. It’s in Cherokee, NC nestled in the beautiful Smoky Mountains(I’m posting a review in a day or two). You should visit soon. I’ll see you there!

This is currently my big stock(Nasdaq: NBEV). You have to be aware of CBD by now and this company is leading the way by adding CBD to their current line of Marley(Bob Marley) beverages. Today the stock closed at $5.27 but once the products reach the shelves in a few weeks, I expect the stock to start rising. Eventually, I expect it to double, triple, and be trading around $20 before too long. Have a look at it! 🙂

Trump was exonerated! I couldn’t be happier. I voted for him and he has truly made me proud. He wasn’t my first choice, I was behind Ted Cruz until he dropped out. However, I’ve been a Trump supporter ever since. He is honestly having a great week. The Mueller report was a giant fizzle fart and Michael Avenatti has been arrested. Lol. I’m sure Donald The Great is fired-up and ready to fight his way into a 2nd term! TRUMP 2020!
